O.A.R. Great song. I grew up in MD about 30 min from rockville so these guys really hit home. I packed up and moved to Florida by myself (no friends or anything, just felt like starting over) when I was 22, I'm 24 now and haven't been back since. This song almost makes me drop a tear. I was forming some very bad habits with all my old friends in MD. That's why I can't go back. But I re-live alot of the crazy shit I used to do listening to this song. I only play it once every couple of months or so cause it's kinda hard for me. I know my friends back in MD are kinda pissed at me for not telling them and just packing up and leaving, but it's what I had to do, Goodbyes are too hard. So if any of them read this, I miss everyone of you, Maybe see you on the other side.. Keep rockin......... |

Good responses. Hasen't been one since 12 of 2005 holy shit..Am I the only one that still listens to O.A.R. Actually I was goin thru my CD collection and played this song again. I remember hearing this song and I was goin out with a girl, and we had a very open relationship. We both went out with other people, but always came back to each other. Anyway, when Mark sings "If only she knew what was goin right, if only she knew, I would not be alone tonight. I remember singing that to myself because even though she knew I was with someone else we never really admitted it. So that line kinda hit home. If only she knew I was with another girl 2nite and everything was going right. Then he sings "if only she knew what was goin wrong, I would not be singing this song". It made me think that yes I was having a good time being with another girl, but it also felt wrong because I wanted to be with my real girlfriend. Anyway, just throwing out my opinion. Keep rockin........ |
