I think this song is about the government making a lot of decisions that aren't necessarily good for us the people. And so what do we know is like saying that so many things could be hidden by the government that we dont know about |

I think this song means that we just sit on the coach all day and watch the tragedy's that happen in the world on t.v. and how we are punished because we don't do anything about the problems in the world.
Vicarious means to suffer in place of another. This acn mean just about anything, but to me it means that the U.S. troops suffer while we just watch what happens on our television (they suffer and we watch instead of doing something about it). People need to stop talking about problems in the world and ACTUALLY do something about them!!!

Hey PhillyFlyers8, you have a huge point. Clinton was a liar, a cheater, and a lawyer. But I think the wave your finger part goes more towards hypocrisy.
And to Staindfan73, you have a point to, apparently the kangaroo court was one sided and unfair. That would make sense for lawyer because of the court and liar would be like how unfair the court was. |

To add back to mine, the line "You must of been high!" is repeated over and over again in the song. I don't think this is referring to druggies and stoner's, I think it means that you must be high to criticize someone who isn't any worse than you. |

Yeah, it most likely means that you can't criticize people who do the same things as you. Whether or not it's about stoner's and pot Maynard was definitely saying that u have no right to be a hypocrite when your just as bad.
