okay, all this talk about it being from the book of revelation. the beast of the sea has seven heads with ten crowns on each head, not seven with one. I have studied the bible and I didn't see anything involving religion or the book of revelation in this song. I believe it is about the yangtze dam. |

Well there is a video of them playing this song live. He says at the beginning "Think of someone you don't like personally." So I believe that it is about being really pissed off at someone and wanting to hurt them in the worst way possible. |

I'm not saying that this is the meaning to this song but for me it portrays someone who is deeling with a lot of problems. That person's friends see that they are dealing with something that is really effecting them in a way that the person cant quite explain. But the person pushes his friends away and doesnt want to let them in, because he is afraid of what they might think. But he then realizes that his friends are really there for him, and want to see him get better, and he realizes he was being selfish in a way, and is ashamed of himself for acting that way. |

| I think that this song is about being in a serious, depressed state of mind. And that person is kind of secluding to himself trying to find the reasons why he is feeling the way that he does. He then tries to deal with all of the things that are causing problems for him and find out what kind of person he really is. He also finds himself pushing people away, even though he wants help from them. To me the line "Impossible to tame" is kind of saying that he cant seem to grasp onto himself, like he cant control his emotions. Altogether he just wants to find the reason why he feels that way, and wants to find a way out of that mindset. | |
