| Radiohead – Electioneering Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| personally, i think the best thing about the Ok Computer album is the way they demonstrate symbolism in their songs in ways outside of just the lyrics. the melodies and sounds themselves, if you listen, represent the message in the lyrics incredibly well. its like their using sounds to tell a story almost. Example: this song, in the main chorus where Thom Yorke says "I go forwards, you go backwards, somewhere we will meet" in the melody, you can hear yorkes voice goin down in pitch , and you can hear the guitar notes goin up in pitch until they both hit the same note at the end... and in Paranoid Android, the song has very disoriented and almost violent melodies in it, and if you look at the lyrics, the lyrics have very disoriented and sometimes violent phrases in it... I could go on forever, but you get my drift kinda, Right? | |

| Radiohead – Myxomatosis. (Judge, Jury, & Executioner.) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

this song reminds me of a simpsons episode where homer finds a piece of candy on a girls ass, and he rips it off and eats it and the girl files a molesting claim and the whole city of springfield despises homer becuz the media has warped him to look like a mentally twisted pervert... "she ate me up for breakfast she screwd me in a vice but now i don't know why i feel so tongue-tied " "yeah no one likes a smart ass but we all like stars but that wasn't my intention, I did it for a reason it must have got mixed up strangled beaten up " "but it got edited fucked up strangled beathen up used in a photo in Time magazine buried in a burning black hole in Devon and i don’t know why i feel so tongue-tied" "My thoughts are misguided and a little naive I twitch and i salivate like with myxomatosis" |

| Gorillaz – Man Research (Clapper) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

i think this song is talking about some kind of sci-fi human research facility, where they feed the humans certain foods and medications to test their health and mental stability. "This is a breakfast club!!": With the wacky voice saying that at the begining, it sounds like maybe the specimens in the facility have been brainwashed into thinking that their members of a special club of some sort, and have no idea that they are specimens... "bring me coffee in the know see the taffu on the send i got sunshine, i got you there’s nothing, nothing life can do bring me junkie in the love he said nothing in the tongue": this sounds like its going into the mind of one of these specimens and what they are thinking about as they are taken through the stages of the day... "to kill the model from my door": This is a stretch, but this might be reffering to when certain specimens aren't adequete enough, they give them drugs that kill them immediately so they dont suffer any pain... Man Research, I think, reffers to the research that is being done on the specimens... ...This is just what I think of when I hear the song. It's kinda weird, but whatever... |
