| Katy Perry – I Kissed a Girl Lyrics

WOW!?! People actually care what the lyrics are saying? This isn't offensive at all. Her point in the entire song is, I'm straight, I kissed a girl for fun, I liked it, and that's just how some things go when you are having fun. This really has little to do with lesbianism. Get over your conservative family values and enjoy the song. |

"Please fall in love with God not with Mute Math - i love Mute Math however it is God they live for and its God who gives them this amazing energy and passion for what they do. Break the spell and Fall in love with God. Also see them live coz they are even more amazing live then recorded - AMAZING!!"

Well one good thing about Mute Math is that even though a lot of their songs are clearly connected to christianity, they write good enough lyrics to let someone who isnt christian still create their own interpretation that has nothing to do with god. Although... this song is hard to interpret the "You" in the song as anything but god. Perhaps his mother when he was growing up? hahah |

I agree with painted faces. They want to believe a christian god is real, like many christian people, but realize it either doesn't matter if they recognize there is a god, or perhaps there is no god at all.
I'm going with Christian by the way just because they are all christrians, but im sure it could apply to any religion. But It's a good wake up call to many people who blindly follow any belief that is preached to them between pretty glass pictures. Jowhatever57 might be a good example of this person.
also I lol'd a bit at craigowens as well :) |

Oh wow. People think its about heaven and god? I really hope not. The song could be interpreted to be a lot of things easily. Its mostly just above wondering when your time will come to rise above the rest and be something more than just "typical."
My literal interpretation is that this is something that the band was dealing with when first trying to hit it big. They worked really hard and have want to get to that "higher level," where they have global reconition for their work I suppose. |
