To me this is definitely about a girlfriend who has died suddenly or committed suicide. The singer is depressed to the point that watching the setting sun might convince him life isn't worth living without her. He recognizes like any sane, mature person, however, that his darkness may pass, if he makes it. This song is intense. |

Doesn't part of every man want to have his word in edgewise? this is about basic, male needs that SOME women don't understand. Sure, it's taken to "shocking" levels of honesty in this song, but that makes it brilliant at the same time... |

It's a love song. In my mind, it's a couple of poor kids in industrial London, and the guy found a girl he's willing to wait in the rain for...a sight for sore eyes. wouldn't mind a bit of that myself... ha ha. definitely kick ass |
