in a sense, i agree with you, but in a way, it feels as though the song speaks for itself. i'm not quite sure how to explain that, but the title of the song and the whole mood/feeling of the song just seems like someone has been let down...you know? maybe not, but that's how i take it...and i can kind of say that i can relate to it. call me crazy :) |

this song actually makes me really sad, but i like it. the way he felt as though he "ruled the world" reminds me of how i was on top of the world when i was with my ex boyfriend. and this song is about a memory, so yeah. =/ |
