this song is amazing. it is pretty much about a girl that is going to kill herself and there is someone else there that she wasn't expecting. so she tells him to leave, because he is in her way. she tells him that she was going to kill herself tonight. and he asked her if she knows what she just said basically. and she is going on about how she doesn't matter because he doesn't know her. and he is telling her he wants to change that and get to know her. and then he is telling her how good life can be, but there will be a few rough patches. and instead of dying she could live with him. and she is confussed. and he tells her that he can't force her to not kill herself, or to live with him.. it's her choice.. she tells him. that she will give him one day to prove that he is different from the rest and if he hurts her she will kill herself without warning. and he is telling her to calm down and that he gets what she is going through because the only reason he was here was to kill himself too.. this song is amazing, any song with suicide gets to me. my dad killed himself when i was 13. i love the spill canvas |

i think this song is actually about nick losing his family member when he was younger. and his girlfriend at the time lost someone too. so even her being at the funeral is miserable for her. the memories are killing her. Those melodies almost made me physically sick"""" i can totally relate to this part. my dad killed himself and i would feel like i could have done better the funeral. and we didn't make it good enough. like, he wants to redo the funeral, because it wasn't good enough for the person he loved even though it will never be good enough overall this is one of their best songs, i love the spill canvas. they are amazing. |
