I happen to think that most of chris cornell songs all mean the same thing. about geting hurt in a realionship getting hurt bad.(I've givin' everything I need I'd give you everything I own I'd give in if it could at least be ours alone I've given everything I could To blow it to hell and gone Burrow down in and
Blow up the outside world) just like what this is saying that he gave everything away to ease the pain but she still keeps wanting and taking from him. (i give you everything i need everything i own) just saying that he keeps giving and she just keeps taking.
and like at the end of the song where he says someone tried to tell him somthing dont let the world bring you down.... then hes just like save it for you own. well i think it means that he just dont care what anyone else has to say on what happen they can just save for your own and the ones tha you can help. i think that he thinks that he is beyond help that no one can help him anymore he's at the end of the road. |

I think just the name of the song says what its means. That love is just a burden in his hand (just an anchor on my heart) saying that love or a realionship is just pulling him down thats it not worth the stress and pain to even have one and sometime i agree with it. |
