| Matthew Morrison – Summer Rain Lyrics | 13 years ago |

| Simon and Garfunkel – Keep The Customer Satisfied Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
I never thought this song was about drugs at all. And I still don't, even now that i'm older. I never figured Paul to be the kind of guy who would write such poetic songs only to eloquently describe selling drugs. "just trying to keep the customer satisfied" I thought always meant that he was polite, good natured, "home town" kinda guy, but when he goes to the city, people are assholes to him. This would seem to keep true when he references the bible. "I hear words I never heard in the Bible" could just mean he's not used to hearing that obscenity and rudeness. Could just be about his travels and touring. I never thought of drugs. |

| Tricky – Hell Is Round the Corner Lyrics | 17 years ago |

| Kate Bush – The Painter's Link Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| one of my personal favorites. | |
| New Radicals – You Get What You Give Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I don't think Beck is a sellout. I believe he makes music because he is creative, rather than the sole purpose of making money (unlike Hanson, back in the day. I mean.. 'Mmmbop'?) | |
| The Smiths – I Know It's Over Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| handsome groom, give her room.. | |
| Supergrass – Kiss Of Life Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I think most of these lyrics are wrong. Listen to the song and read along, and you tell me. | |
| Sparks – White Women Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Adam Green did a song called "White Women" as well. The lyric "What's good enough for Adam is good enough for me" probably refers to Adam Green.. | |
| Mint Royale – Dancehall Places Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think these lyrics have several problems.. Pretty song though. What's it about? |
|

| Sneaker Pimps – Grazes Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Early aim is to suffocate and blame, you gave less than you tried to possess all the greatest nothing that I need, if you can't face the grazes can anybody explain those lyrics to me? i love them, but i can't grasp the meaning. |

| National Skyline – Cadence of Water Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Beautiful song. Tragic, though, somehow.. it feels like it's about the death of the narrator. | |
| Placebo – Sleeping With Ghosts Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think it's about a couple trying to cope with the man going to war. It sounds like a conversation between them to me; she is afraid he won't be returning. The lyric "This one world vision Turns us in to compromise What good's religion When it's each other we despise Damn the government Damn the killing Damn the lies " sounds as if she is voicing her frustration at the current situation. And when it repeats "soulmate dry your eye, soulmates never die" seems to me like him consoling her and promising his return, or that they will always be together in spirit. |
