| Metallica – Master of Puppets Lyrics

It can be interpreted as about any kind of addiction, or "Master" taking over your body causing you to need it. It is mostly about heroin or cocaine use because of the lyrics in the 2nd verse. Also, after "laughing at my cries..." and before the solo, James screams, "Fix me!", NOT "Face me!" (Source: lyrics on metallica.com). Nevertheless, one of their best songs. |

| Linkin Park – What I've Done Lyrics

To me, this song is about redeeming yourself or who you used to be. Specifically with addiction. Some sort of addiction or traumatic event has changed your life recently and it caused you to do things that you wouldn't normally do. You are facing yourself and your fears. You fear change from what you've become, but you still want to be who you used to be because you were happier then. This is about forgiving yourself from what you've done, in hopes that you can move on and become who you used to be or who you want to be. You don't want to be in this state of mind forever, you want to erase it and get past it. |

| Linkin Park – Leave Out All the Rest Lyrics

I think this song is about suicide, no? Someone who is feeling down and has regrets about things that they've done in their life. They want everyone to know that it's not their fault and to only remember the good things about that person. |

| Boston – Don't Be Afraid Lyrics

One of the most underrated songs by Boston. A lot of good riffs played here, kind of like a lullaby.
This song is basically a proposal to a woman by a man. He's wants to prove to her that she doesn't have to be afraid of love, and that she should trust him, even though she was burned in the past. He wants her to believe in him, and trust that he will love her and be faithful. |

| Boston – It's Easy Lyrics

Another classic Boston song. A man professes his love to a woman. He at first is shy and wants to take it slow, but then realizes how easy it is being around her. He doesn't want to wait any longer for them to become exclusive. |

| Boston – Something About You Lyrics

It sounds to me like a guy meets a girl that totally rocks his world. He was afraid to show his true feelings, and still is. With her, he makes an attempt to change because she has qualities about her that he loves. He is willing to put in the effort for this one girl. He's willing to do anything to keep her, because she brought out the best in him. |

| Boston – Hitch A Ride Lyrics

The song to me means that each day is a new day. It is talking about making a decision to commit to something and never look back. The lyrics, harmony, and solos go well together in this song. |
