Ok...the word "Nymph" has nothing to do with sex, it's english meaning was adopted from greek mythology and it simply means a beautiful woman, or a goddess appearing as a beautiful woman. Obviously the "amphetamine" suffix is a drug reference, henceforth the word "Nymphetamine" is a metaphor describing the similarities of love and addiction. If you have ever actually been in love you will realise that it is an addiction, you feel like you can't live without it, and in some cases you can't. There are some great metaphors in this song and they all refer to the agony of being shunned by the one you love. After reading most of these comments I have realised that there are very few intelligent people that listen to this music...and it takes a keen intellect to decode the encryption of Dani Filth's thoughts. |
