I love this song. I can really connect with it, and yeah.. It describes exactly how you feel when someone you love has left you. Avril has a fantastic ability of being able to express herself in any aspect. This song is one of my favourites on her album because, like many of you, I can really relate to the lyrics & I think that the emotional level she has the ability to create is astounding. When I heard "Girlfriend" I thought she had decided to totally change her image, but hearing this song sort of brings relief to my ears to know she's still got her talent, lol. Love it! |

I think this song is more about the lust.. I don't know where everyone got the vampire comments from, but whatever floats your boat I guess. I'd say the "biting" was a more sexual comment than literally biting her to make her bleed. I'd say it's basically about a guy and girl, he likes her a LOT. And he went home with her, and a lot of stuff happened that he wanted; "I make my fantasy reality." So it's basically a song about how much he desired and lusted for this girl. End of. Good song. |
