I have read that poem recently, and the lyrics are inspired in that spiritual flights and metafores, but it isnt an extract of that text (the way both are written differ a lot in style, for example)
Om, to my point of view, just extracts while simultaneously preserves or respects the imagery of a lot of spiritual traditions (sufism or mystical islamism in this case, but I see lot of references too of budism, hinduism, monotheistic religions, and deeper and more esoteric Kabbalistic references and occultism)...

I think the meaning is more normal that it seems, at least it happens usually to me: when you reach a deep level of introspection, and analize how time & space start to break off themselves conceptually, and you can use this feeling as a deeper way inside your mind. |
