Owen Pallett – This Is the Dream of Win & Regine Lyrics 18 years ago
It kind of freaks me out that his songs are references to video games...I mean...like...it's cool and all, just a little strange.

The music is astounding right?

The Microphones – I Felt Your Shape Lyrics 18 years ago
Uhm. I think he was in a realtionship with a girl, and he loved her like crazy, and thought that she loved him back, but when the realationship ended, he realized that what he felt was falsely strong, just an infatuation.

**I really like the opinion about the hug though.=]

Bat for Lashes – Sad Eyes Lyrics 18 years ago
**I can tell that you're lonely
But it seems now
There's nothing you want me to do
So I won't try to take the sadness from those eyes that I love
Leave it open for someone else to**

I think the narrator realizes that no matter how much she loves "sad eyes", she's just impairing them and so I think she gives up on loving them so that someone else can make "sad eyes" happy.

That's what I hear, anyway.

I see an old man dying, explaining to his children why they don't get any of his money.

Colbie Caillat – Bubbly Lyrics 18 years ago
I agree completely with the meanings posted before me but, the phrase, "I get the tingles in a silly place," implies to me that she is *ahem* sexually excited...as in the silly place that the tingles have visited are her, so to speak, her unmentionables.

The Pipettes – Judy Lyrics 18 years ago
Um...I may be over annylizing, but I think the narrator started out by being somewhat upset at Judy's choice, by which I mean...Judy is a lesbian. The narrator thinks Judy is cool, and wants her for a friend but a realationship develops. The narrator is concerned for Judy, because once this part of her life is over, her decisions may lead her to heartbreak. The narrator says she will be there for Judy, if Judy can do the same for her. I think the narrator is commited to Judy, but does not know what's in her head...Like I said before though, I may be over anylizing.
