This song is definitely about a failing relationship. You can tell that this girl has ment a lot to this guy and he doesnt want to hurt her, "I wish that I could walk away...I can end this in seconds I know this but I don't dare." And it seems that part of him doesn't want this to end. So he questions "what have I gotten myself into this time" This is all to complicated and to many emotions are involved. This seem to fell apart all too soon, and they both ignored it wanting it to work out, however now they clearly see that this relationship is to fucked up to keep going, but again they don't want to admit it. Esspecially him who doesn't have the confidence to end it. "It's a work of art the way this fell apart was the design too faded from the start or was the artist just too blinded by this no its common sense I lack the confidence" It seems like there both trying to fight reality "I never said that I'd compromise between fact or fiction" She seems to have no problem hurting him though. "I'd take a bullet for you you'd put a bullet through me" And he also questions why she doesn't just end it since it seems like she doesnt want this any more then he does "theres so much better out there then you and me" "so why wait for this to go your way" Just my opinion =/ Definitely a kickass song though, my favorite by Just Surrender. |
