Less Than Jake – Goodbye In Gasoline Lyrics 18 years ago
I think its about a lifetime of getting in your car and leaving your life behind, and this is just the latest time, another goodbye in gasoline. Like how many times he's counted the signs and road lines, its saying he always just runs away, and now he needs to go again.

Less Than Jake – Hopeless Case Lyrics 18 years ago
This song is about someone who is trying to help someone who feels worthless and like no matter what anyone does they'll never be anything but a hopeless case. The person is torn between being grateful and surprised that anyone would try to help them and being cynical that they'll be able to succeed at all. I can really relate to this song a lot of the time.

My friend was telling me he heard them say at a concert "SHAKE WHAT YOUR MOMMA GAVE YOU.... FOR JESUS!"

Family Force 5 – Love Addict Lyrics 18 years ago
Its great to see this much originality in a time when most Christian bands all sound the same, mad props to FF5 for daring not to sound like everything on Klove!

Five Iron Frenzy – Everywhere I Go Lyrics 18 years ago
Anyone else get the impression that they're mocking the Amy Grant version? Either that or they're just keeping up with the usual level of FIF silliness.

Five Iron Frenzy – Combat Chuck Lyrics 18 years ago
Um... hate to say this but Chuck Norris isn't bald and definitely doesn't wear horn-rimmed glasses. It sounds like this is about a youth leader at a church somewhere who's a real soldier for God, just not in the usual sense that people think of soldiers, which is a cool idea.

Wow, this song is beautiful lyrics set to a powerful melody that reminds me somewhat of a sound like Nirvana or such bands.

Streetlight Manifesto – Sick And Sad Lyrics 18 years ago
Anyone else here catch the underlay at the end of the second verse? He throws in a line from Keasbey Nights at the same time as the last couple lines "But I don't care I'll follow her to anywhere" You can hear faintly "But I don't care I can fade away to anywhere don't stop cause you might get dropped" Thought that was interesting.
