I agree with most of your meanings. "Hurry up and Wait" - is an showbiz industry term (Film or music). Where most of time your waiting around for the shot to be lit, or the gig to start, and then the next sec your rushing around to gets thing done |

| Sublime – April 29, 1992 Lyrics

Bradley is saying that the riots, even though sparked by the rodney king incident, wasn't its main reason.
"They said it was for the black man, said it was for the mexicans, but not for the white man" - He is referring to the media, who reported as a race riot. But his say if you were actually there, you realised that it was much bigger than that. Rodney king was just the straw that broke the camerals back. It was about all races coming together after having enough with society.
"But if you look on the streets, it weren't about rodney king" |

| The Libertines – Music When The Lights Go Out Lyrics

Pete wrote this song when he was 17 years old. He actually played it to his mum on his way to college. To "No longer hear the music" is to fall out with love with someone. Its about him falling out of love with a girl, and not really knowing why. He loves her but isn't in love with her, and wishes he was. |

| Ash – Girl From Mars Lyrics

"Girl from Mars" is a reference to the saying "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus". A saying which means Men and women think of different wave lengths. This is a song about a girl who tim met that was on his wave length (soul mate), and fell in love with. Simple as that! |
