| Patrick Wolf – Lycanthropy Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think that Patty has a way of using metaphors and twisting words so that they can be interpretted as the listener needs them to be- however i think the title of the song gives the greatest clue to any meaning this song holds. It's about a transformation into something real, whether good or bad it's about change. |

| Patrick Wolf – Demolition Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
When I saw him sing this live I cried my heart out. It's od, because before I think I sort of overlooked it. I think eleahtro has got this exactly right. I think it's about needing someone so much that you just can't function without them, and the thought of surviving on your own seems impossible. |

| Patrick Wolf – Beastiality Lyrics | 18 years ago |

OR it's like, the beastiality he's talking about isn't the beastiality we know, it's just a word for the animal side of him. 'Why should I be sorry for my instincts and agressions?' kinda thing. |

| Patrick Wolf – Abolish Confusion Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Such an incredible song, lord! What I would do to see him play this live | |

| Patrick Wolf – Beastiality Lyrics | 18 years ago |

xXlastgoodbyeXx, I wouldn't say Don't Say No is showing an animal side of Patrick at all, in fact quite the oposite. The meaning is passive and relenting. But about this song, He's not necessarily talking about Bestiality, we all know how Patrick is fond of his metaphors, but more about frustration and anger and animal instinct, and NOT being sorry for your actions and behaving how your body tells you to. It's a wild and magical song. |

| Patrick Wolf – The Marriage Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I don't think there can be any doubt that this song is about sex, or at least using sex as a metaphor, perhaps for the love he felt when he was 15. Gorgeous song anyho, one of my favourites! |

| The Cure – Doing the Unstuck Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Blimey it's annoying when people do that exclamation mark thing. Is this site not about how you interpret a song? Though aparently you, Robot, are the source of all knowledge, no? I don't think this song has been described as listless at all by any of these people, or interpreted as such, and though I don't think this is a cheerful song personally, I'm not always out to seek infelicitous undertones. I stand that the lyrics are not happy ones, despite being dressed up as that, and in a helluva lot of other Cure songs I think exactly the same. I think that it's something Robert does, almost bringing a bit on incongruity into his songs. Just an opinion though! Don't be bringing out the '!!!' again. |
