Even though the Interlude isn't on these lyrics I have to say its amazing. The artists dropping to his knees thinking the Thespian has won has beaten him. On the verge of knowing he will be together with her Again as the Thespian closes int to kill him Then Annabel's voice appears and he comes back to being the Artist. She consoles him speaks sweetly that she loves him then her voice distorts and grows suttle and angry distorted and she kills the man she loves before he can ever go back into the Thespian perhaps becoming the thespian herself murdering him and by killing she could cease to be Annabel. By listneing to her voice and the song Annabel she is consumed by anger just he was the artists and everything he was completely dissapeared leaving only Annabel as the new The Thespian. Just thought that was a nice diffrent outlook. also I love how the lyric is You killed her you murderer, you have stripped me of the one that I love Annabel, our Annabel. Showing it is indeed a eternal Struggle between The Artist and Thespian. Just by that lyric in turn I think how it talks about betrayal is this. Annabel could have never betrayed the Artist. Maybe The Thespian inside the Artist grew jealous stronger saw The Artist with Annabel so the Thespian took over and killed her in his mind. It could also be that Annabel did infact betray The Artist and the thespian was created to kill her because The Artist loves Annabel so much he could never kill her so the Thespian was created to kill her. There are just many ways to interpret this. |

Ok mascarasmeared you are basing your opion on the music video. Which if you even heard the comments about the vdieos from the Director and the band you would realize how wrong you are. Also I don't think this has any Christian menaing to it all Davey said himself he doesn't really put that much interest into Christianity. Also if you include the "Raido edit" or "UK verison" breakdown the lyrics differ greatly from the breakdown here giving a completely diffrent meaning. It kind of reminds me more of someone everyone looks to like a god or idol but this person had nothing left in his life and his heart was empty "Some lyrics to signify his fall from grace in thier eyes* so seeing himself in this and how it coulds break everyone who adored him down, he took his life so they would remember how he was and not what he had become. this explanation even firt the alternate lyrics. Miss Murder of course probally signifying Death Coming. |

I doubt he killed them, he could think of a better story of how they died if he did. Think about it No bodies were found, and the lyric "Crawfish 'til the bitter end." Makes me think after dragging in Nolan and Darius it turned them into Crawfish which would make since why nobodies were found. This is a good cover of the original. I don't really like taking things down to this level but its obvious to me. Think its pretty much talking about (wolves) people preying on women. Rape etc Like "I don't think even big girls should Go walkin' in these spooky old woods alone" Could signify parking lot street or allery where these type of things happen. Also constantly mentioning physical features driving Wolves mad. Though honestly the whole song doesn't seem to have that feel especially in the end. All in all it seems more of someone is obsessed with Lil' Red Riding Hood but can't have here. |

People say she cheated on Davey People say they went on a few dates but never got together. People say Davey cheated on her with Brittany Manchatta (who did the female vocals on Decemberunderground) Noone knows really. Or will since its Davey's personnel life. This imo seems to be about two people who want to be together but everyone wants to tear them apart because they think they shouldn't be together. So they run away together. The stripping lyrics imo would mean more of showing the person you love everything about you telling them everything not keeping anyhting from them and then they do the same for you being completely vunerable to each other. Wierdly the song at first according to some lyrics especially the first ones make me think someone who was close to alot of people died and he is watching them at the moment "like a ghost" :P I have been a world apart, stuck in between time. Head into the ground, I'm found falling through fault lines. I feel see through. Can you see through me? The lyric Raise a glass and toast the flame just like the old days. Could be everyone remembering that person one last time. Or Maybe the song would be about someone who after losing someone important to hhim he life wanted desperately to go back when everything was fine before he lost them. This song is so beautiful and Davey sings so emotionally. Maybe its about two people who wre in love and something went terribly wrong. And everytime something gets worse or goes wrong that they can't handle they look for the other person to hold onto. They know what went wrong and it won't ever be the same for them but they don't want to accept that because they got to the point that they need the other person with them. |

Which since alot of Manson fans are calling him a sellout now so I don't really see how he can talk about other bands when MCR don't sound anything like Manson or are anything like him. I don't like Manson and particulary think his music is easily among some of the worst i've heard except for songs he covers which he actually does a good job on. @ sean_is_rich Its not about Alexander The Great. First of Alexander was not gay but bisexual. Second just because he was in the movie doesn't mean he's going to write a song about it. But I can see how you can relate some lyrics to him like the ver fist few and some of the chorus but what about the others. Ones like "For a fortune he'd quit" does not fit Alexander at all Alexander didn't desire fortune thats not why he set out to conquer the known World. Plus he found fortune and gave it away to his people. "On a mountain he sits, its not of gold but of shit" Doesn't match either yes it is shit not sin (if you listen to song cleasy the sounds he make between Sit and Shit aren't diffrent and sin would sound more like sit if he did say sin. |
