This song is simply amazing It sounds like he knows that they're love was unexpected. Maybe it was just a fling or something, but they ended up falling for each other. They ended up with more than they bargained for and now that they're being challenged by distance, he's telling her that he's willing to fight for it ? Idk i could be totally wrong XD |

This needs more comments. This song is MINDBLOWING. It has a fun up-beat sound to it, but it's still relaxing. I personally believe that it's about a guy who's basically confused. 'It's either or' literally. They want eachother but at the same time they don't. She's leaving him hanging and he doesn't know what to do. So he's being upfront and asking here to tell him what's going on. "Tell me it's over or everything you hoped for Tell me either way, I know you know I never let this go" It's just so beautiful. It's a great song to listen to after a confusing break up when you still love them and you're not sure how they feel |

This is my favorite from Sara Bareilles. It's different from a number of her songs because most of them are about how she can't stop loving a guy, and that no matter what she'll be drawn to him. This song is empowering, it shows that she's independent and that she's moving on. Great song to play after moving on :) |

I seriously cannot believe that no one has commented on this! Well I think that Sara's voice is amazing in this, it's irresistible. This song is great. I'm not sure if I'm 100% correct but to me, it seems like she has a habit of getting back together with the same guy, even though she knows what she's getting herself into. It hurts her everytime he leaves but she can't help but love him. "Oh, I couldn't find a better man to let me go." Even after he leaves her, she still thinks he's the most amazing man she's been with. "Now, I’ve given in, why fight it when I’m resigned to simply live in your wake." She knows that she'll take him back no matter what and there's nothing she can or wants to do about it. LOVE IT! and again, if im wrong, don't kill me :) |
