I interpretted this song into picture form: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a151/GCRiotgirl333/My%20drawings/takingoverme.jpg It's a bit of a literal interpretation of the lyrics, but basically it was someone who remembers a friend that they lost, who doesn't remember them, but theres still bits of this friend that remain in her, and she still sees them in when she stands gazing in the mirror thinking of her friend. Not the best interpretation ever, but those were my thoughts. I know it's not the best picture ever, but I really can't draw! |

I really like this song. It's one of my favourites (plus I can play it on the Piano ^_^) I did a picture for it (I hope you don't mind me sharing it!) http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a151/GCRiotgirl333/My%20drawings/breathenomore.jpg I wanted to draw a person reaching out and touching her reflection in a mirror, but then I couldn't draw a person, so I just cut it down to the hand. The pieces of the mirror refer to 'Oh the little pieces falling, shatter. Shards of me, To sharp to put back together.' Some of it's a bit literal for my liking, but it's the best picture I've ever done of a hand, so I don't care! ^_^ |

I love this song (along with all Evanescence songs) but recently I listened to it and it reminded me of a Futurama episode (what is it with me and linking Evanescence and Futurama?) It's an episode called 'Love and Rocket' well, watch it and you'll see what I mean. I really love this song. I was actually reminded of a Futurama episode, 'The Sting' listening to it (I'm not obsessed... honest!) I can interpret many songs with Christian meanings. Does that mean that those who aren't Christians will suddenly hate the song because of this? No. In fact most people probably don't notice! I AM a Christian and I must say I hadn't even NOTICED the connection there, so it really doesn't matter. Are people not allowed to express their faith just because people who listen to them don't agree? Let people express their faiths if they want. If you don't agree, fine, just don't let it stop others from expressing how THEY feel. I'm sorry to rant, but this is something I feel very strongly about! |
