the "deep red wound" is the infliction of pain of the people around her. but i really wanna know what "in our beautiful world of saving face" means. what is saving face? oh and i think the party about "you're the ones with the flaws" that the people judging her based on her actions are the the flawed ones because they have no insight into the girls life or her reasons for self infliction of the metaphorical suicide. |

when he says "and they, they had you in their targets" he means that it's all the people in her life that made her pull the trigger on herself. and he was the only one who saw through all her pain and depression and darkness to the beauty inside. and everyone all they saw was darkness and so them looking down on her in turn made her kill herself. and the ""And then, it's all blown away. With you or us all." i think he means that "with you" is her blowing herself away with the gun and the "or us all" is everyone blow away by the fact that she kills herself. i also don't think the killing herself is literal suicide. I think it's more the suicide of her innocence and that's the guns effect on her. the "so vanity's got this new guy that she wants to try on you" is her pointhing the gun on the men that go in and out of her life. and she's really this empty empty girl and when people finally see that about her they're blown away. but he sees past the way she hurts herself, or metaphorically commits suicide but sleeping around. he sees to her inner beauty. |

i just had this amazing realization tonight. i listen to this song very often since i feel it has so much depth and feeling and i really relate with it on different levels especially under the influence of drugs. so tonight i had this amazing realization about what he means 5 to 3 walls of candy. he's talking about ecstacy 5 to 3 triple stacks (that's what he means by walls). candy is another name for ecstacy. so he probably means it as doing e to be happy among all his strife and depression. or he's rolling during all his depression and pain and he's trying to cope with whatever it is that's happening with him probably in the love department. |
