I agree with this being one of my favs. I guess most people only know the most popular songs by Phish Instead of listening to them all, concidering how amazing each one is :) If life were easy and not so fast I wouldn't think about the past I can't forget to turn the earth so both sides get their share Of darkness and of light I love it. |

But in agreence.. i am one of the only people in high school now-a-days that listens to the music i do [almost all from the '60] It's just all the kids that are follows & dont think for themselves & dont see true talent because it was never played on mtv. PHISH IS AWESOME. |

I personally am into Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix Experience But Phish & Umphrey's are also 2 of my very favorites. :) |

Bob Dylan is by far my favorite recording artist of all time. & out of all the truely amazing & inspiring songs he has wrote, this perticular song is my favorite. He put in words the same hatred so many people feel for war. Even if someone's not standing there holding a gun & shooting people, they still are killing off so many young innocent people. There weapon in this case is there pen. They can sit there & just sign a peice of paper & bam thousands of people are sent to their deaths. Well hey jerks, Dylan, with his weapon, also the pen, can show to light the kind of assholes you are. this is by far my favorite beatles song ever. Harrison is the man !!! the sitar is also in my opinion the coolest instrument in the world. I love the meaning of this song, i believe it means like this - so he's saying all about how "the space between us" & "the love we all could share" then he's kind of in a joking manner saying, oh but your so small & life will just go on you cant change anything.. but really that you should be trying to share love & make people closer & that it can save the world. yup :) |
