| but really i beleive this song was made to say everyone is over analyzing thing. We should all just let things be "goo goo goojb" doesnt make any sense so we should let it be and just exept it instead of having to figure everything out. The government should not be caring about sex, smoke, morals, hair, and making sure other people know what they are doing. Theyu should defend and not run away from the important things by over analyzing the small. Becuase eventaully we are all sitting on a cornflake waiting for the van to come | |

Well i think this song is about the establishment, It is talking in the begining about how we are all together and we are eachother and then goes on to say "look how they run like pigs from a gun" wich could be a metaphor for the police and how they dont really protect us. "sitting on a cornflake - waiting for the can to come" could be talllking about everyone is watching every time noise or move you make up untill you die which is "when the van comes". When it says "Tuesday man you been a naughty boy You let your face grow long." It is mocking the government and there standards. The chorus is basically saying that i am an eggman, i am a walrus what does it really matter as long as we please the establishment. goo goo'jb is just a way of saying whatever. It goes on and talks about the policman running away. Then the part about the custard dripping for a dead dogs eye could be a english school song and crabalocka fishwife could just be made up words (perhaps from a LSD trip) "pornographic Priestess boy you been a naughty girl,You let your knickers down." could also be reffering to everyone making such a big deal when people do what is natural such as having sex, or letting you hair grow. The part about smokers could just be saying that everyone makes such a big deal about smoking and act like the smokers are so bad when really they know, they just dont care. In a summary i beleive this song is 1. About the establishment and how everyone is watching every move you make and you cant do the things that come natural. 2. Based of an LSD trip |

i would have to say that this song is one of my all time favoraites. it its so beautiful. "Now I have locked my actions in the grooves of routine. i am not exactly sure what to say about this song other than that it has been my favoraite song for about 2 years. there are a few lines such as "this is the first day of my life sware i was born right in the doorway" i think this is saying that you really havent lived untill you are in love i think this song is directed at perhaps a lover that he has broken up with and wants to get back together becase the last line says "besides this time is differnt i mean i really think youll like me" saying that he has changed from perhaps his old habits i dunno butt it is a wonderful song |
