| I think this song is about a guy who plays girls by pretending to be one of the nice guys. I can almost hear a sarcastic tone to Bob's voice when he says "let's hear a cheer/jeer for the 'nice guys.'" And when he speaks of "our guile," I think he means a guy's deceitful ability to play the good guy and get the girl. And obviously the line "if I lead you along then you read me wrong" is like telling the girl, "hey, you knew what the deal was this whole time, I just wanted to get some, sorry not sorry." And for the rest of the song, I have no idea haha. | |

I would completely agree. The religious corruption can be seen also in the lines "'This is not quite time to think. This water's not so bad to drink.' Then chokes a laugh and walks away." It is like the church controlling it's followers and making them think what the church wants them to think. Or also, and this could be a stretch, but the water could be symbolizing the Bible, and once the person drinks it, or reads and believes it, then the church has them in their grasp. Regardless, such a great song. The bass kills! |

rosalyn carter like sj sands said was the wife of jimmy carter. she did a lot to help mentally and emotionally challenged. so i guess thats why the kiosk in his tempeol lobe is shaped like her? but i dont know what the song means without ppls help like Tuvia and Powers but about the crusafiction of the girl, in Viscera Eyes it says "hay mi hija no me llores porque te quito de esta cruz" translation "oh my daughter dont cry, because ill take you off this cross" or something like that. i thought Amputechure was the only TMV album with no story...how wrong i was |
