just wanted to share my experience with this song when it first came out. i was living in a foreign country for work for 6 months in 1999. without knowing anyone or speaking the language very well, it was easy to slip in and out of depression. this song was played all the time on their mtv and radio. not sure if anyone remembers the video, but it was a cartoon with a kid not belonging to any groups and being shunned. gee, this song really connected to me. |
