| State Radio – People To People Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think its about a woman whos house is being raided by soldiers or officials of some sort, and its saying that people dont treat eachother fairly. I think the second to last stanza is how they disrespected her and didnt care to "clean up" after themselves. This is really just a guess, someone correct me |

| Yeah I think thats just about right on. | |
| State Radio – Wicker Plane Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
All I understand is that theres an old man whos flying a little plane through some city, and has never seen skyscrapers or anything and accidentally crashes his plane. I don't really understand much after that. I think theres probably some deeper meaning to it though. Might I add that I'm so excited to see them on October 4th in Vermont |

| Michael Franti And Spearhead – Bomb the World Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I LOVE THIS SONG, PERIOD. Every word of every line and every guitar strum and drum line is so amazing, I can't get over it. This song, and "Oh My God" were the two songs that got me hooked. |

| State Radio – Mr. Larkin Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
So I understand that its about a guy whos wife is sick, he works at the nursing home to help cover the cost and everything, But this is kind of a stretch... Is his wife in a coma? When it says: Every now and then, she'll squeeze my hand It's what I live for and it's why she don't die, Im thinking she possibly faintly remembers him or something, and thats why its such a big deal. Or she could have alzhiemers. Nonetheless, this is such a great song. I never really payed attention to the lyrics at first, but now that I do, its a pretty sad song. |

| State Radio – The Diner Song (Caesar) Lyrics | 18 years ago |

haha, this is a great, almost pointless song, but i love it oh so much. its also funny how almost all of their songs are about the war, and how bad it is.... and then bam, theres this one. |

To platnumben09- I understand what you're trying to get across, but the situation was unfair for him. True, he knew he was going to fight in a war, but he had never experienced it in person before. He probably had never killed someone before, and I could imagine that it would be quite traumatic. Another point, is that when you sign up to go fight in the army, you're pretty much volunteering yourself. Since it was your choice to start in the first place, why shouldn't you be able to end when you want it to? I think that this is a great song, and his story should get more attention. |

| G. Love and Special Sauce – Hot Cookin' Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This song is so awesome, its so summer-y and everything. It makes me want to sit on my front porch and drink lemonade (hah, pun kind of intended)... I think g love might be a pyro though, referring to lines 3-9 in the second verse. | |
