I agree with you. But that is part of the Chili Peppers' charm. A good song will have several understandings. There's a soundbite on the Led Zeppelin website about that, pertaining to "Stairway to Heaven." Robert Plant points out that from the first line "There's a lady he knows all that glitters is gold," the lyrics are open to unlimited interpretations. |
