i think this is a song to all those "fans" that put down AFI for being famous. He's saying i'll let you tear it up, as in put down the band but don't bother him with it because he doesnt care, because he knows the real fans will stay behind them. And hes hoping this flood of fame won't put out his fire, but if these people finally tear the band with slander they can't repair it. He did an interview for our local radio and talked about how any fans that would put them down for finally making it aren't real fans, "Cause it's apparent, that you don't care" |
