Look no further than drotelli's comment, clearly bang on. What I was going to post was similar, but not quite the same. God may be a little embarassed - there has been a big misunderstanding and these people are expecting an afterlife, but they aren't getting one they're just going to die. All he did was create the world, he never planned on offering humans anything else. So. sorry about that, you don't get eternal bliss - you do get trials and tribulations, and interesting things like blue hair. Best try and take joy in that. I would say it is a parable *and* a very subtle joke. |

Not sure what the song means overall... however.. 'No one will know my name...' looks like a reference to the singer, named E, whose real name is not well known. And the bit about Winston Churchill... well, everyone knows that all babies look like Winston Churchill. |
