From my point of view the song is clearly linked to someone who is about to die: "You are a sleeping lion in your bed I will not wake you You're the moment Love has passed We all must learn to hate you You're a memory from before Please don't let me forget you You're the wolves at my door" These images make me think about someone who is forced to stay in bed for an ache or something like this and the protagonist is divided between the hope to hate him/her, to make things easier or to not forget the person (infact he directly ask to him/her to do not make him forget him/her) The part "In that moment you realise That something you thought would always be there will die Like everything else" is amazing and I think it's too tragic to simply indicate the end of a relationship, I think that only death could make it so tragic and deeply moved (and moving). "If your hands wont move to do a days work? How can you know what things are worth" I think this part is referring to the person in bed that is not able anymore to do any type of movement and the impossibility to understand the meaning and the utility of life if you're forced to live your life in a bed. "These thoughts I must not think of Dreams I cant make sense of I need you to tell me its ok These thoughts I must not think of Dreams I cant make sense of I need you to tell me its ok" The last line disturbes me very much, I think that Tom has truely felt this, it's not JUST a song. One of the most beautiful song ever. |

In italian it doesn't make ever a sense! (i'm italian) and sometimes the grammar is a bit odd! but in general the translation here is good and the sense is (in my opinion) that there is someone here who is completely confused about everything and (s)he (I think he) doesn't know who he is and who he isn't , compared with someone who always knows what (s)he wants. |

This song is fantastic, in particular the ascending part of Look up/ through the trees to feel as small as you can, from that point is pure genius I think. I really feel touched from it, it moves something in me, this and other two songs of the album are three of my favourite siongs ever. good job editors. |

this song is so great. i listen to it from two days without stop. the sense of boredom is fantastic: "And you cannot run or ever, ever escape You cannot run or ever hide it away" I like very much the second voice saying "run run run run run run". fantastic. |
