im with the one person up there. i think it about a state of mind, or emotion, instead of an actual person. davey hasnt gone out with a girl in a lonngg time and im pretty sure hes not gay... im thinking if its an emotion or something that maybe its suicidal thoughts? if this time imperfect is about suicide and the whole whoopdeedoo 336/337 theory, im thinking the 'person' hes refering to is his own thoughts. maybe depression? something along those lines. but if the cd goes in a circle over and over an over again, i dont think in every one of daveys former lives he would have committed suicide.. but maybe he thinks that... i dont know. just.. throwing things out there.. its going to be something really obvious and we're all going to hit ourselves when we find out. its always something obvious....... |

jsut a thought.. "in the shadow of a star" i think thats jsut a fancy way of saying in the shadows. the sun is a star. so.. in a shadow of a star.. in the shadow of the sun... makes sense to me. "in static pallor" i forget what static means... i think the phrase was shocked paleness or something like that for anyone who is too lazy to look it up. so im thinking he woke up and realized all that had jsut happened didnt really happen... "i realize i never began." i have no idea WHAT he was dreaming about, but the fact that it says dream in the title makes more sense. |

i thought it was "what david calls serPENT and master" that changes everything. i thought it was about hell. like the first verse anyways. did anyone ever think that the david in the song is maybe not him? david sounds all biblical to me and i dont know shit about the bible, butttt... it made more sense when i thought those were the words :[ i know he doesnt believe in god, but i dunno. maybe he's like i am and believes in hell and demons anyways. or maybe.... "Omnipotence, nurturing malevolence." me thinkie thats the biggest clueee. omni in front of a word means "ever" and potent, usually means strong, or powerful, but in the form of like a substance or a chemical.. i think. if not, i am a rambling idiot. and malevolence is evil. so a strong subtance is making this evil grow more and more powerful. by the sound of the entire song, i would think hes taking antidepresants, and its making him kind of mean, and he doesnt like that. take in what i said and read the song, maybe taht would make more sense.... but i get the feeling im wrongggg |

well.. i think its anti depressants.. if anyone else has ever been on those damn things than they would understand.. "live your life from the 9 to 5" prob when whoever it is has to take them, cause you have to take them at a specific time or it fucks with you. "time you bled" attempted suicide.. cutting.. you take your pick it was probably one of those. "return to days where you knew you still felt alive" ok.. a lot of people only know that anti depressants either make you really worse or dont work at all but ive been on bipolar stuff and my other bipolar friend has too and that stuff completely takes away your emotions. you dont feel anything. youre completely boring. and its worse. "they've sold you everything you need to fix you up and you feel good now but you cant wake up" first part is obvious but the second part.. umm.. addiction. the not being able to wake up part makes me think that whoever it is cant live without taking them and hes freaking out because they arent the same person anymore. "break the walls between building atrophy, causing all your problems to receed." anti depressants are more trouble than they're worth. get off of them. now they are making that person worse, and hes telling them to stop before they get worse than they were before. "take back the beat in your heart. why fight when you cant be bought?" take your feelings back because they are your own and stop fighting this because happiness cant be bought out of a tiny little bottle. my two cents.. ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.. im wrong. |
