Dragonflyeyes is correct. In the sense that her interpretation is what's written in "Tales of a Librarian". The booklet also states that this song involves The Bible/Mary Magdalene (which is pretty evident is some parts). Overall, great song and great message. |

I know the title says "Samson", and obviously this song has a little connection with the story of Samson & Delilah. But I also think it's about a relationship from the woman's point of view. It's sad and romantic at the same time. It's about how a woman can turn a "tough" man into a vulnerable one. It could also be a woman losing love for her lover. Did Delilah leave Samson in the end? Perhaps when this woman (from the song) saw that her lover had lost his strength, she didn't want him anymore. |
