To me personally, this song is about a beast. Possibily thee Dark Lord, plotting to cleanse this Earth. Killing/slaying/etc everything (or almost everything) upon the face of this planet. However, it would appear that mankind has started to cleanse itself. Also, now I am not religious myself, but due to the humans freewill, given to us by God. It is mankinds fault, the way this world has turned out to be. War, Terrorism, High Crime rates in various places around the world, etc. So perhaps humans ourselves are making a future of destruction upon ourselves. Or, humans in general are carrying out the Dark Lords work. And we, the humans, are blind to see... |
