This song is astoundingly beautiful, I can definitely hear similarities with the organs / keyboards in this song to the strings in Peter Gabriel's The Book Of Love.. I would love to get an english translation of all the lyrics, though it's pretty much perfect in beautiful mysterious icelandic.. :) |

i can't believe only one person has commented this song. i find it the most.. amazingly lovely, beautiful epic song ever. I don't really know what it means; maybe something about.... someone not being known for who they truley are, not seen for who they are 'and to know you is hard and we wonder / to now you all wrong, we were...' Someone seen to be a bad person, but really, they are good.. 'to know me as hardly golden, is to know me all wrong...' I don't know, that might all sound very trivial. Nonetheless, it's such a beautiful song i love it; mostly... i just want to use it in the movie of my life, and have it when my lover is about to leave on a train, and then i realise i can't live without them and then run back to teh train station in slow motion in the rain, and then kiss at the end. haha! it's such a beautiful song :) |

this is definetly one of my most favourite songs ever. it indeed makes sense about the abuse, i can see that.. also i thought it could be a kind of .. hopeless relationship between two drug addicts, who know that their lifestyle and relationship is less than perfect, so they continually take drugs and enter 'the impossible dream' maybe? i don't know.. |

hey i love this song, and i listen to it lots and lots, but i've always wondered what it meant by 'the bluest light' anyhooodles.. i was listening before and the idea of.. drugs came to mind... BECAUSE..you know how they put blue lights up, so people can't inject for heroin or something... maybe.. she makes him not do drugs or something :| if that makes sense, just an idea anyway hehe |
