hm. this is why i love afi so much. davey's lyrical abilities are so great that he can tell stories in such a poetic and mysterious way that it dumbfounds me. i agree with what anathematic said... who is this "you"??? davey talks about "you" in soooo many songs.... who could it be??? it bugs me.. makes me want to write about it for a class essay or something.... but as the rest of the song goes... i would say that, in a nutshell, its about giving up anything and everything you have for that certain "you"..... even if they deny you. which thus leads into ...but home is nowhere, which i agree with totally aCrowdisUntruth still curious... |
