I love this song. It's my 2nd favorite on this album next to Four Years. At a recent concert Buddy said pretty much the exact same thing illegalpunkrkr said. He said how it's about finding out who you are, and stopping trying to being what you think someone in your family wants you to be, and being who you want to be. I love this song so much. It has a really personal reflection on me, because I can relate to it a lot, especially to what Buddy said, also this line "My Father taught me Firsthand how to be set free Give up and run away I wish I could drain Out his half of blood in me But I still have his face I curse reflections every day" My birth father was a skin-head bastard, and left my mom after she found out she was pregnant. He wanted her to abort me. But the thing is, he had another girlfriend, when he got her pregnant. He's a racist asshole, and has he's hidden his identity from being found, like we can't locate him or anything. I used to want to at least know him. I guess according to my mom and grandma, I look physically a lot like him. But I hate having his blood. But yeah, this song just rocks. and guys, try to go to any Senses Fail concert near you, theses guys are so kickass. I've been following them since 03. They're so amazing in concert. Buddy is all crowd surfing, and he sings such a variety, I mean as a treat they played one eight seven to close the show. I love these guys. |

I just finished reading the book "Looking for Alaska", by John Green. And wow, this song sounds exactly like it was based off of the book. The title alone "Famous Last Words", the main character's hobby is memorizing famous last words. And in short, the book is about a boy, who meets this girl, who is fun and crazy at times, but is also really depressed. She also already has a boyfriend. She really hates herself. But he is in love with her. Always imagining them being together, but he can't save her when she decides to go for a drive when she's drunk. Throughout most of the story, he, as I said, is in love with her, and always thinks she loves him back, and hopes she'll leave her boyfriend for him, and a scene where he kisses her, he think she really loves hum, even though his friend says she kisses a lot of people. "Where's your heart?" ugh, there's so much I wanna say, but I don't wanna spoil the book. Go read it. If you like the song, or even if you don't, you'll love the book. |

I really like this song. Good sound. The lyrics sound kind of like; A person is falling/hurting/dying and losing faith in everything because he feels like faith in a future and God and Heaven and such isn't helping him now, and people are trying to save him with prayers and books and just verbally, but he needs physical or emotional help. I don't think this is linked at all to satanism. I think it's far from that. As himynameiszummie said, you can be doubtful and have weak faith, but still be religious, or Christian. I personally am, and have gone through times like that, and expect to again, but regardless. |

I love this song. So deep. It almost makes me cry, especially around this part: "but time had taken had taken its toll, she had no place to go. They found her body resting by the river. To me, what it means is there was a girl he was friends with, and really cared about (Likely named Madeline) who he used to hang with, but she started to become sick and depressed, cutting herself, and believing all these horrible things about herself. Probably some other people involved who hurt her emotionally. She tried calling him(singer/narrator/Sean) but he was away at the time, but she didn't try again. They all knew she was sick and depressed and hurting but never did too much for her. She ended up killing herself down by a river. He regrets this and feels that if he could change one thing, it would be to tell her that she's gonna be okay, and try to help her over come it, and be there for her. |

No comments? Kidding me? Anyways. Moving on. This song, In my opinion is amazing. To me it tells a story. The guy is hurt inside, and feels worthless, the girl he once loved has died, and he keeps her picture on his shelf, beside the photos of his other loved ones( possibly who also are deceased). And he is now in a relationship with another girl, who he feels is better than him, but she somehow loves him. He wants to love her back, but can't, and is ruining both their lives. He can't love her, because his heart is set on the idea that if he gets to close to her or anyone, he will lose her, and he can't let it happen. |

What I think this song is about, is God, and 'Home' is Heaven.. Just listening to it, and paying attention to the lyrics, I found it sounds alot like God is the person he's sorta talking with and Heaven is home. |
