At first, I thought this was a typical song referencing love--til I listened to it a few more times. I think it's actually about some sort of a salvation experience. He says it's, "Like being in love with you for the first time." If he were only talking about being in love he wouldn't say it was "LIKE being in love". Alot of Lifehouse songs have underlying spiritual meanings, kind of like a double entender. |
