This is probably way out, but when I first heard this song I thought that the Spill Canvas were Irish 0.o It seems like an old Irish tale. I don't know. It just seems to me a tale about neglect by the mother and lost opportunity. Also I think the father infected the mother with some veneral disease and then ran away. I don't think he liked any of them, he just stayed there for a while and then went. |

I know about the pronunciation. It's not great. Personally although I heard this copy first I think the Sigur Rós copy is better. It's much more melodic and if you close your eyes and listen to it it's much more beautiful. I reckon they should stick to English tbh. Good song tho. |
