| Chevelle – Mexican Sun Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| yeah dude, I was wtf'ing when I read that | |
| Chevelle – This Circus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I knew he was saying "medicine man". Haha. I was wrong about a lot of the other lyrics though... | |
| Chevelle – Mexican Sun Lyrics | 16 years ago |

Here's the lyrics from the album Soon the stares catch We begin to kill the calm as we Feed on the facts let's give in Let's give in to give in more Still on the knees Such a shame The cat's up and run away Scratched at me first Then the boy Gonna panic for a little more Watch the tail boy Watch the tail Like to be feeling the sand Bring color Back to both my arms the sun Let it do damage like they said it Would if given chance Had to be shouting your voices Scheming devils Never make it through Hey way to go lad Hey way to go (Can't wait to go) Closing out all my tabs Tighten down the pitiful Leave you a pen Write it down Or you know what you can do With that Watch that tail boy Watch the tail Let's let the panic bloom Could help us all end up in the Clear Then let the havoc choose To shape us all, push us to invent We can feed off shame all day We could feed off shame all day |

| Chevelle – Letter from a Thief Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Here's the lyrics from the album They know what everybody knows Better sit a letter from a thief says Why lead if everybody sleeps So few ways to Cover up the old ruins Lost in a finger forced to lie This sends us medicating Through it all If you ever enter my mind Stay there You'll live Defend it off or fool them all Stay there You'll live Faceless, so little there to judge Left wing let's Separate the cold out Opposites, we'll never need to tell One sting I've found I'm having to, having to Solitude, waste of a man This fades as soon as the sun sets I now own this fatal role that lives Imagine here's a better feel Told to dissolve, or choose to fade Or stay here you'll live |

| Chevelle – Highland's Apparition Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
Here's the lyrics from the album See it Startled Afternoon I had to ask Or dare I, ever know Tell us We are demented Watch as attention span Hold so fast Then go up in smoke I don't think you're Nervous enough It happened to show its own face Search for the soulless ends No point him towards rest Cuplrits, shudder Apparitions left in time If we're honest, sight unknown Crowing, frozen, bedroom Awoke up certain lays a tomb Her tree holds it Unbeknownst still sending chills You won't find me curling up A place that should make sense Well excuse me for this Better judgment Night is so worth waiting for A blinding scare so cauterizing Arms out pointing sit and stare at This proof This living proof This proof This living proof Sun's up Braver Hands and legs untouched Before we forget Save this Unaging proof |

| Chevelle – Shameful Metaphors Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
or it could be "the ravings tend" and yeah, wasn't sure what he was saying after "fall and cheat" so I just left it at that it's kinda like how on Letter From A Thief when he says "this fades as soon as the sun" and then you can hear "sets" right when the little guitar solo starts to hit |
|
| Chevelle – Letter from a Thief Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This and Shameful Metaphors are my favs. Sleep Apnea and Highland's Apparition were also really good. | |
| Chevelle – Shameful Metaphors Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I disagree. I feel it's the best song on the album. | |
| Chevelle – This Circus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| also "what did I have to lose being negative" and "turning over, hurting us so clear" sounds correct | |
| Chevelle – This Circus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I could be wrong but it sounds to me like he says "I lived with inside this medicine man. How perfectly sure of the circus" | |
| Chevelle – Mexican Sun Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| now that I think about it, it sounds more like "then the boy got a pennant for a little more" | |
| Chevelle – Sleep Apnea Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I'll start submitting the lyrics for the rest of the songs A.S.A.P. =] Hopefully my pre-order will come soon. I figure it should've gotten here by now... |

| Chevelle – Highland's Apparition Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| yep | |
| Chevelle – This Circus Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| that's what I thought too | |
| Chevelle – Sleep Apnea Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
and if you are bbeisel on Youtube you even sent me a comment saying "Nice work. It seems pretty close to me" so ha...lol |
|
| Chevelle – Sleep Apnea Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I wasn't blaming you. Jeez... It's just that the part where it said the following was exactly like mine (except I said cheat instead of see) on Youtube: "Try to read off a letter that's falling apart The sun and the moon I can't see Escape like an animal I'm ready for my sleepless stroll" Like I said tho it doesn't matter since you changed some of it up. :P |
|
| Chevelle – Sleep Apnea Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think this dude copied and pasted the lyrics I interpreted on Youtube and changed some of it up, but it doesn't matter... "light the sun like a kiln" "then i set out to choose someone" "the sun and the moon i can't cheat" "i found these shifting hours mistakenly used up" |
|
| Chevelle – Highland's Apparition Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
I think this song is pretty straightforward. It's about an encountering an alien or a UFO. here's some of what I heard differently in the lyrics... "see it startled" "search for the soulless ends" "culprits shudder" "crowing, frozen, bad dream" "you won't find me curling up" "night is so worth waiting for" "arms up pointing, sit and stare" and I think the one line is either "a blinding scare soon caught our eyes" or "a blinding scare so cauterizing" |
|
| Chevelle – Letter from a Thief Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| I think this song is about how all of their stuff got a stolen about a year or two ago... | |
| 32 Leaves – Way Beyond Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
You taught me to face what I never seen Then you let me fly (It's all been a dream) You taught me to hate above everything Then you sold me lies (You're not what you seem) Outside you erase what you've done to me I'm pretty sure that's how it goes |

| Chevelle – Build Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| it's from The Basement Tapes back from like '96 or so, I'm not sure if the lyrics are 100% correct or not though, this is just what I interpreted | |
| Chevelle – Still Running Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| if you've seen the DualDisc for This Type of Thinking, Pete says this song is about a struggle... | |
| Evans Blue – In a Red Dress and Alone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
oops, on my last message it should be "carve your name into concrete" no spaces there...lol also every time you wrote "your" it should be "you're" |
|
| Evans Blue – In a Red Dress and Alone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
alright, here is everything you need to change (it's just small errors) every time you wrote "too" it should be "to" "meat" should be "meet" "she holds them in her hands" should be "she holds them in her hand" (hand isn't plural) and once again it should be "carve your name in to concrete" and the last one I'm not positive on but I think "street and town" should be "streaming down" |
|
| Evans Blue – In a Red Dress and Alone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| either way, you can tell they say "carve" | |
| Evans Blue – In a Red Dress and Alone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
if you listen it says "carve your name into concrete" though, not just "your name into concrete" and besides, "your name into concrete" doesn't make sense anyways....lol |
|
| Evans Blue – In a Red Dress and Alone Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| "your name into concert" should actually be "carve your name into concrete" | |
