This song is about his girlfriend having a strop because it's a cold morning and she doesn't want to go and watch a sunday footy match. "She said see if it's still raining, I'm not dressed for it" and "when you fit me as sunday's frozen pitch fits the thermos flask" and obviously the relationship is falling apart, but this is one of the many stupid arguments that are causing it to. |

| Does anyone else see the link to I Miss You by blink-182, since blink were fans of the cure, it seems like they've written another version almost of this song, about someone whose died and obviously someone missing them. Plus the "I Miss You" part seems to be a direct link. | |

I think this song is the second part to 'cut here' by the cure. Since all of blink were fans of the cure it would make sense. Robert Smith wrote 'cut here' about a friend who had died. I reckon (like other people) that this song is about someone who died and the person who's still alive wants the person to come back "will you come home and stop this pain tonight" but the person who died doesn't want the other person to worry about them "don't waste your time on me you're already the voice inside my head" which makes this song seem like a sorta extended version of cut here, because it tells about a person dying, but elaborates more on the person who died aswell as how the other person feels. Also in cut here, towards the end, after the story of the song has been explained it says "i miss you, i miss you, i miss you, i miss you so much". Just got me thinkin :D |
