"Light up, Light up As if you have a choice Even if you cannot hear my voice I'll be right beside you dear" I love those lines. I can relate to this whole song, and it gets me every single time. I might not cry every time I listen to it, but every time I hear it, it reminds me of what I used to have, but don't anymore, and how I wish so badly I never lost it. Ehh enough cryptic code though, I lost someone I'll never forget, but what happened was entirely inevitable and we all knew it was going to happen eventually. Trying not think about everything thats happened is so hard...And thats why I absolutely love this song. To me, it's talking about him losing someone to an illness or disease "Light up, light up, as if you have a choice" to me is saying, you don't have a choice because this is going to happen, no matter what, but make the best of it while you can. This is one of my favorite songs ever and the first one I ever heard by snowpatrol. |
