It pretty obvious really...It's the bitterness everyone feels when they are hurt by someone they care about. Obviously he wants this woman to feel the pain she caused him. |

I know you are lll convinced the beatle references mean it's about writing but Lucy in the Sky with diamonds, A day in the life....these songs were complete products of drug abuse! I am the walrus for crying out loud! |

I think what everyone says about it being about escape to the coutry is really cool.
It's a bit like romantic poetry like Wordsworth or Blake, like longing to be back to the countryside, wanting the joy of life before the corruption of industrialisation and revolution. |
