| I definately think this song is more about the state of affairs in the world right now, or more specifically America, infact mainly America. I think they're trying to say that yes we have a HELL of alot of bad stuff going on right now, with the global warming, Iraq, 3rd world country problems (that have always been there) but step back and take a look, you now have a black man and a woman running for presidency with a damn good chance of getting it, that's a massive step forward for humankind, to have removed racism n sexism to that extent. | |

| ever think some of this might be about he wanted to end it because of him not her, and maybe she didn't let him, maybe he killed himself because of that? some of the lyrics scream domestic violence, maybe he hit her, under the influence of drugs. | I suppose it's about a guy liking a girl, who he's friends with, but he wants more than that. ofcoarse this would be a simple song if it didn't delve into the fact she, not necaserily sleeping around, but in other relationships, but that aswell could be considered cliche. but the fact that he tells himself that he doesn't want her, but then when she comes back to him after being hurt he really does want her, and he apologises, hencce forgive my indecision, he'll do anything for her. | |
