Parkway Drive – Horizons Lyrics 18 years ago
Well I haven't thought too deeply about it. Seeing as I only recently got this song, but I think it's portraying his thought on what alot of the world is like. HOping for something more. Like a life after death, he's kinda saying what a waste it is, living for the afterlife. It's like you're just waiting for death, even thought you won't find anything after life. I'm not sure if it is the true meaning, but I believe songs are up to the persons interpretatio nand thats what I want it uo be, because I strongly believe there is no afterlife or anything liek that. I don't like religion becase I think people need to start putting more faith in things that are actually real, like those closest to them, rather than 'higher powers' that haven't been proven.

Avenged Sevenfold – Unholy Confessions Lyrics 18 years ago
Geez people... I spent ages reading through all your ideas... And a lot of you think it has something to do with a crime, I'm not so sure. I think it's all about how love never lasts and the song is about wanting to not care about it and be less sensitive to it so it doesn't hurt.

The line 'I wish I could be the one, the one who won't care at all', is pretty obvious, it's saying they wanna be the person in the relationship that doesn't cop the most pain for once.

The line 'But being the one on the stand, I know the way to go, no one's guiding me'. He is saying seeing as he's the more sensitive to what's happening in the relationship, he has more of an idea what to do, he's on the stand he decides, but as the song's about, it still hurts him.

I think the line 'When time soaked with blood turns it's back, I know it's hard to fall' is saying how hard it is to be on the losing end of a relationship that took a lot of sacrifice and pain at times to make work (Time soaked with blood).

But the line 'Confided in me was your heart', is something he is unsure about, or maybe that's just what I want it to mean, relating to my current situation.. Anyway, I think he's saying, "Sure, her heart's confided in me and she loves me, but it's still gonna hurt me more.. hence 'Confided in me was you heart, I know it's hurting you, but it's killing me'.

I think the whole thing is about being with someone who isn't effected as much as you are. It goes over how bad that feels and how you with you could be less concerned.

The reason I went out of my way to share my opinion is cos right now I'm with a girl like what I think this song is partly about. She emans the world to me, but I just don't think she has the same feelings for me, she always says she loves me, and stuff hurts etc, but you can just tell they don't understand how much more everything effects you.

Three Days Grace – Never Too Late Lyrics 18 years ago
The song is easy to work out on it's own, but it's harder to get it and the video to have the same emaning. I think the video is about her losing her parents, or they became neglectful. I don't think the guy with the black and red jumper is molesting her (but I still can't explain the part with the pain on his hands and the wall).

I think he is trying to save her from suicide and protect her form himself, but she keeps trying to get away. Like when she's older and she is held to the bed, his hands are holding her down, keeping her from killing herself. Then it shows him with her and then he freezes and the girl walks over to the angel of death, lookin as if she thinks it's a way out. But then the guy fights it, and then she is OK at the end. So I think that guy is trying to save her fro mherself.

He could be molesting her, which would explain the paint, and him leaving the room at the end. But then the clip wouldn't be helping the songs meaning of NOT committing suicide, because if he was supposed to have been molesting ehr that means the angel of death is protecting her, and that her only salvation is death. That wouldn't exactly be the best way of making suicide look bad.

Nah, the people saying rape are almost right. The whole album is a story if you listen to the songs in order. This song is about him attacking his girlfriend because he's had enough. He knows she's cheating, but she just won't admit it. Well that's what I think anyway, some other people do too.... listen to all the songs in order. The 'why do you take it all? why do i beg for more' is indicating even though he bashes her, she still stays with him and forgives him, and he is saying why does he want to stay with her, when she pisses him off to the point of assaulting her.

Bullet for My Valentine – The Poison Lyrics 18 years ago
Well if you reckon the theory that the album is telling the story about a relationship going wrong..(like I do lol) it's about the person killing their girlfriend. A guy has also explained this in another song meaning for BMFV forget which one though. So I'm ognna take the time and try recite it =P.:
1. Her voice resides: he wants to dump the gf, but cant cos he loves her too much.
2. Tears don't fall: Finds out the gf is cheating on him and tells how bad he feels.
3. 4 words: Him talking to his friend who his gf cheated on him with.
4. Suffocating under words of sorrow: Him telling how it feels to still be with the gf knowing what she done but her not admitting it.
5. Hit the floor: him talking to his gf bout cheating and attacking her.
6. All these things I hate: keeps going on about how he hates the situation and she wont admit it.
7. Room 409: him finding her at his apartment (room 409) cheating with the other guy.
8. POISON: HIM KILLING HIS GIRLFRIEND
9. 10 years today: looking back on the friend who his gf cheated with committing suicide.
10. Cries in vain: telling of his pain after all thats happened and looks to religion for help but doesnt get any.
11. Spit you out: him trying to fight the guilt of everything and trying to overcoming it.
12. The end: him looking back on what's happening and being overwhelmed and ending his own life.

DUnno who it's actually about but I reckon that sounds about right =D

Parkway Drive – Emotional Breakdown Lyrics 18 years ago
Pretty self explanatory. I reckon he's singing about a woman he loved/loves more than anything and is completely bound to her and knows he'd never get over her and nobody else can compare, he's at the point where he wants to be with her all the time but he has a feeling something bad is gonna ahppen and every day he just hopes they can last one more day.

Reminds me of my situation I had not long ago, was with this girl, and she was the best I'd ever met, I broke up with her after some stuff happened, then realised it was a mistake, so we got back together, but about a month later she dumped me and realised she has the potential to get anyone she wants, so she's taken advantage of that and now she's your typical stuck up chick.

Stone Sour – Through Glass Lyrics 18 years ago
I thought it was about people not seeing people/situations for who/what they really are.

Like the 'while you're outside looking in, describing what you see' is saying people will just take things as they see them, without knowing the truth and 'how much is real, so much to question', is him asking how much can you really know just from looking at something.

'When thought came from the heart, it never did right from the start' is saying when people have proper thoughts (ie. thought from the heart) it never came right from the start, they had to delve deeper to discover truly what something was.

'Just listen to the noises/ before you tell yourself/ it's just a different scene/ Remember it's just different from what you've seen' is saying you need to actually know what someone's like (listen to the noises) before you can make an assumption or something, because what you see isn't always the case.

This is what I think of the song anyway, regardless what it's really about, I think songs should be up to personal interpretation, the point of good music is to be able to relate to it, so it's ok to think of it how you want to.

I'm not sure why, but this song to me, kinda explains the term 'meh'. (which people say when they don't really care). lol, just parts of it, make it sound like it's saying how not taking something seriously enough can ruin it... that's what it emans to me anyway.

Mudvayne – Skrying Lyrics 18 years ago
I agree with StealMyCan, I'm pretty sure it's about sex. From what I've found skrying is some sort of ritual or something to get rid of 'demons' and depression or some crap like that. I think the song is about how sex was his way of skrying. If you listen to the lyrics closely a lot actually relate to sex in a hidden way.
