| i dont think rob zombie or white zombie songs are meaningless they just seem to rely more on their emotive style of music than lyrical understanding. I believe with all music, film and art their impact and importance should rely mostly on personal experience. For myself this song is written from the viewpoint of someone who has been intimidated, harassed, and bullied by an individual or group who prides themselves on their good character or righteous behaviour. when it says more human than human i see it as a declaration of self-hatred in the face of those who manipulate society's need to feel good about themselves to inflict their own self-interest on the weak and powerless. fight fire with fire, fight fear with fear! | |
