This should have been on X & Y - Talk wasn't nearly as good as this piece. I'd say it's one of my all-time favorite coldplay songs. |

I think the speaker's an enabler. "To ease your trouble, we'll pay them double." It's a co-dependant relationship, because the subject of the song "last[s] just as long as it serves" them. Incredibly beautiful, but definitely a dark song. |
