This song is just awesome, I can NOT believe this only has one comment so far. First off, musically it's awesome. The trumpet in the beginning is obnoxious, but doesn't last long. Then the walking bassline on the piano is just AWESOME. Once you get into the main song it just keeps groovin'. As far as the meaning of the song itself, it's something I know all about. For me, this is about a guy who wants his girl to cut the bullshit. She says she loves him, but her actions don't line up with her words at all. She never has time for him, but she hangs out with all her other friends: For me you never seem to find the time Come on I've waited for your phonecalls But you must be uptown having fun When you do that thing you do I get so exited too But you never think to ask me if I want to Come with you So honey where do we go from here???
