This song makes me think about the people I may have expected to be more than they were and the people that expect more of me than I can give. This comes from the TV show One Tree Hill. I'm not sure if the song was written for the show or just a song she had written and it ended up there, but it emphasizes the feelings of the characters to hold one another at this impossible standard in a marriage of two teenagers. I hold this song close to my heart. |

Oh this band has been big for a while with, "Pictures of You." This is my favorite song right now. Driving down the road with my windows rolled down singing or screaming it at the top of my lungs. It's definitely a summer song! I really like the message. I wish I knew more about the background of the song. |

Actually, it sounds like she's playing a guy. It makes sense. "White picket fences in your eyes" "All I can commit to is maybe" "please don't make too much of it baby" "that's not what I"m lookin for." It's really about a woman who's just out to have a good time and someone has fallen for her and wants to marry her, but she's not like every other girl who will faint at the first touch of love. She just wants to mess around! |

This song reminds me of a close friend of mine. He changed himself to be something he wasn't and now he can't change back. He's just this monster nobody likes. He doesn't know how to change back. So he's battling himself and although he wants to change, he's afraid to because of what it would cost him. He doesn't think he has it in him to change. Hence the contradictions: Somebody help me." "no one can help." It's ultimately his decision, but he doesn't think he can. |

| Hmmm. Why can't a song just be about being in love? Wouldn't you want someone who makes you feel, in a sense (as a child would), like the world doesn't matter? "I just...hmm." is poetic, because sometimes saying nothing is the most powerful phrase of all. "Comfortable enough to feel your warmth." I hope as children someone fell asleep in the back seat and was carried to bed by their parents- because it's that feeling of security that we only feel as children and when we're really in love. | It's a mix between Maroon 5 and Panic! At the Disco. I reaally like it. I like the idea that the phrase, "He tastes sweeter than you." is a movie quote, but maybe it's also talking about how bitter the second party is. Just a thought. | |
